Microfiber Pollution: A Tiny Problem with Big Consequences

When you limit the amount of packaging you come home with from the grocery store, you help decrease the demand for plastic: Plastic bottles, plastic containers, plastic bags, plastic you-name-it. While you can recycle many of these plastic things, it’s best to eliminate the demand to begin with because recycling isn’t a perfect solution. It requires lots of energy and as it turns out, some of the products that are created from recycled plastic can go on to have a harmful effect on the planet.
